Research Interests: Microalgae Ecophysiology with research in two main sub-areas: 1) Ecotoxicology and the realtions of microalgae with metals; 2) Bioprospection of microlagae considering the search for new molecules with commercial interest, biomass production, photosynthesis and CO2 biofixation.
